S.Chiussi studied chemistry in Germany, obtaining the Dr.phil.nat. at the J.W.Goethe Univ., where he taught general physi.chem., quantum mech. and spectroscopy. From 92 he taught mechanics, electromagnetism and advanced processing and characterisation for microelect., photonics and biomed. applications at UVigo. He was a guest lecturer at Tohoku Univ. (Japan) and since 1997 Prof.Tit. at Vigo Univ., where he directed 8 PhD theses and participated in 60 projects, 5 patents and 120 articles.
